Celeste Hendricks, a lifelong resident of the small town of River’s Run, Georgia, found herself lost and broken after the tragic death of her mother. The absence of her mother in the family restaurant, The Comfy Cushion, made Celeste unsure of how to move forward in life. It wasn’t until Wesley entered her life that things began to change.

Wesley Madden, the disowned son and future heir of Madden Enterprises, had been expelled from numerous prestigious schools in Atlanta. Fed up with his behavior, his father sent him to live with a distant relative in River’s Run. Wesley arrived in the town feeling despondent and filled with anger, exuding a sense of hopelessness…until he met Celeste.

As fate would have it, tragedy struck once more, tearing Celeste and Wesley apart and forcing them to navigate their individual struggles alone. However, destiny had other plans in store for them. Eventually, the two crossed paths once again in River’s Run, where their connection reignited with the same intensity as before, bringing their worlds together in a collision of emotions.
